Forging Facilities

We Have three drop forge Hammers Consistency of 1 Ton, 1.5 Tons & 2.5 Tons, Capacity 350 Gms till 17.5 Kgs.

All Drop Forge Hammers Fitted with Billet Heaters which can feed hammer with accurate Temperature raw material & to forge World class products along with Trimming presses & other presses for straitening.

We manufacture forged components that can be customised as per the Customer’s Specifications / drawings/ raw material.

Even needless to mention – We have exclusive agreement with top grade steel manufacturers too.

Shot Blasting

Shot Blasting facility makes the plant fully integrated and to clean upper surface of product to ensures quality.

Machining Facilities

Complete with CNC lathes, including live tooling as well as vertical / horizontal machining centres. Using the same manufacturing data in all stages of manufacturing from forging to machining, Also too ensures a higher standard of quality control with a wide array of state of the art CNCs/VMCs and SPMs.

To maintain world class machining standards for various forged Components. We confirm specific Dimensions with minimum required tolerances.

Heat Treatment Facilities

Ambay Forge Expertise in Heat treating of all grades of materials with optimum properties & Offer its customers inherent advantage of In-House Various treatment available like Carburising, Through Hardening and Induction Hardening Heat Treatment.

As per our practice-We check each & every lot after heat treatment.

Lab Testing Facilities

Ambay Forge has complete in-house quality control and Laboratory facilities like Inspection & testing of components to ensure consistent level of quality. We have well qualified/experienced team who can able to deliver customers the highest quality products and even as per specific customers requirements too.

Universal Testing Machine (To Check Breaking Load)
Microstructure and grain flow study – Optical Microcopes.
Ultrasonic Testing.
Magnaflux Testing.
Vicker Hardness Testing.
Rockwell Hardness Testing.
Mechanical Testing.
Dimensional Measuring Instruments Like Height Gauze, Vernier Caliper and wide range of test and measuring instruments.

Raw Material Testing

Chemical Analysis is done by Spectrometer. Other Testing Facility Like Micro Cleanliness, Inclusions, Hardness, Step Down Test, Jominy end Quenched Grain Flow, Mechanical Tests etc.

Metallurgical Microscope with Image Analysis software available to check Micro Structure, Grain Size after Heat Treatment.

Steel Round and Square material Identified by Heat Code and Colour Code on both end’s along the length to avoid mix up.

Tools and Dies Manufacturing

Ambay Forge’s one of the main strength lies in its ability to manufacture accurate tools and dies through its in house facility of high speed CNC die making machines.

Cutting Facilities

We have numerous fully automated bi-metallic Bandsaws machines for enabling it to meet forging capacity with minimum-cutting losses. To take care Grain Structure / Speedy & Timely feeding of our Drop Forge Hammers. Needless to mention – We use World’s Top grade Bandsaw blades.

Packing

We pack Consignments as per Customer Requirements Else in Sea Worthy Export Wooden Boxes, Pallets and in Corrugated Boxes.
